Meridia.

Meridia (sibutramine) is a popularly prescribed appetite suppressant used to treat obesity in patients with BMI over 27. This drug is used for patients with a number of other medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart problems and works for most of them without causing any serious side effects. However, some side effects are still possible, for instance dry mouth, mild skin rash, runny or stuffy nose, loss of appetite, hunger, seizure, upset stomach, constipation, and dizziness, although they are unlikely to last for too long. More serious side effects that need medical attention and therefore need to be reported to your doctor right away can include any of the following ones: vomiting, depression, fainting, nausea, dizziness, seizures, chest pain, confusion, skin rash, stomach pain, muscle stiffness, anxiety, lightheadedness, and hives. Take Meridia regularly for best effect and avoid using too much of it. An overdose of Meridia can produce such symptoms as dizziness, fast heart rate, headache and some other ones that can be individual. It is supposed to be reported to your health care provider right away. Never share your dose of Meridia with other people even though they may be suffering from obesity too – they may have contraindications you are unaware of.
